The Hague Convention Participating Countries List

An apostille is a certificate that is provided to the documents to be used within the countries that are members of the Hague convention of 1961. An apostille documents are a standardized form and contains ten specific items:

  1. Country: The country from which the document is issued.
  2. Name of the Document: It refers to the kind of document that needs to be issued, generated or produced, among others.

  7. Date: Date of issue.
  8. Authority: The authorities that issue apostille.
  9. Apostille Number: The reference number of the apostille.
  10. Seal or Stamp of Authority: The signature of the official of the authority issuing the apostille and the seal or stamp of that authority.

General Steps That Should Be Followed to Get an Apostille
